About the Event
The Feast of Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Ruach Ha’Qodesh upon the apostles and other followers of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach. It is celebrated seven weeks (50 days) after Passover which is why it is also referred to as the Feast of Weeks. The story of Pentecost is found in the New Testament book of Acts, where it describes how the apostles were gathered together in Jerusalem when suddenly a sound like a rushing wind filled the house, and they were each filled with the Ruach Ha’Qodesh.
