Day of Pentecost
When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. Acts 2:1-3

About the Event
The Day of Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Ruach Ha’Qodesh upon the apostles and other followers of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach. It is celebrated seven weeks (50 days) after Passover which is why it is also referred to as the Feast of Weeks. The story of Pentecost is found in the New Testament book of Acts, where it describes how the apostles were gathered together in Jerusalem when suddenly a sound like a rushing wind filled the house, and they were each filled with the Ruach Ha’Qodesh.
